Isabel Schwedt
Research Student
Isabel was a research student and a bachelor student of practical computer science at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. She is interested in new technologies and in particular voice user interfaces. Her research interests focus on studying the effect of using voice assistants on meetings and implementing voice-driven applications.

Tim Rittich
Research Student
Tim was a research student and a bachelor student of business informatics at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. His work mainly consisted of managing and maintaining the tool chain for the group and the software project teams under its administration. His research interests in the field were focused on the development and implementation of novel mixed reality input methods.

Martha Janka
Research Assistant
Martha was a research assistant and master student of business informatics at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. She primarily helps and advices students in HCI related courses. Furthermore, she is interested in designing and programming graphical user interfaces from a human-centered perspective. Her research interests are in interactive collaborative work environments as well as designing supporting tools for creativity methods.

Stanislaw Miller
Research Assistant
Stanislaw was a research assistant and master student of practical computer science at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences with the focus on Human-Computer Interaction. Due to his versatile studies, he has experience in both technical computer science and interaction design. His research interests include the implementation and design of new types of interaction in human-machine and -robot collaboration, taking into account novel and innovative modalities.

Roman Raedle
Senior Researcher
Roman was a senior researcher at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on HCI and Ubiquitous Computing, specifically multi-device interaction technologies. His research focuses on the intersection of Machine Learning and HCI.

Franziska Rücker
Master Research Student
Franziska was a master research student and currently studies Media Informatics at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. She has experience with programming applications for virtual, augmented and mixed-reality. Her research interests included the implementation of human-computer interactions and experimenting with new technologies.

Tim was a master research student and currently studies Media Informatics at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. His research interests included real-time graphics programming, virtual and augmented reality, as well as mixed-reality applications. His main focus was on human-computer interaction and the Microsoft HoloLens.

Juan Olaya
Research Assistant
Juan was a research assistant. He was interested in augmenting human capabilities through technology and neurosciences. Moreover, he was interested in developing technology for collaborative working environments to transform ideas into real projects. His research interests covered various topics such as mind-wandering, creativity, video games, full-body interaction and computer science education

Armel Wonga
Research Assistant
Armel was a research assistant and a master student of internet-security at the Westphalian University of Applied Science. He was interested in software development and Cybersecurity. He worked on project connect.emscherlippe/futureWork with many partners to understand how to design creative and interactive support tools for Co-Located Creative Work Spaces.

Nico Neubach
Research Assistant
Nico was a research assistant at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, where he also got his Bachelor’s degree in Media Informatics. He worked in the project futureWork where he developed an AR application to enhance social interaction in hybrid working environments. He is interested in AR and VR applications, game engines, video game development, motion tracking and real-time 3D graphics.
